Threshold left a lasting impression with Shell – they are extremely professional, high energy and fun".

As Shell’s IT Organization pivoted from a supplier-client relationship to a focus on challenging and driving the business agenda, the mindset and behaviours needed to align with the new ways of working. There was a need to engage 8,000 staff across three continents to adopt and internalise these changes.
Threshold designed and delivered a series of highly interactive ‘catalyst’ events for Shell’s IT people. These events, attended by all staff either online or face-to-face, used interactive theatre to immerse participants in scenarios mirroring their own challenges. Delegates became emotionally engaged with these scenarios, observing, listening, deconstructing, providing feedback, and reflecting on their own behaviours.
In addition, we facilitated breakout sessions that included roleplays simulating tough and challenging conversations that people in IT needed to have with the business. These exercises developed a shared understanding of key behaviours necessary for improved performance and provided participants with a toolkit to embed these behaviours in their daily work.
The events successfully aligned the mindset and behaviours of Shell’s IT Organization with the new business-focused agenda. Participants left with a shared understanding of the critical behaviours that lead to greater performance, feeling equipped with practical tools to support the new ways of working.
