Shell approached us with a challenge: to empower their IT leaders to contribute genuine value to the business. The goal was to enhance their ability to authentically influence and engage with stakeholders across the organisation. This required a boost in emotional intelligence and persuasion skills.
We designed and delivered a series of highly interactive workshops, spanning from Bangalore to Houston. These workshops were tailored to equip Shell’s IT leaders with advanced techniques and methods. Using interactive theatre, we bought to life many of the challenging scenarios that their people faced when needing to influence the business. The focus was on practical application, ensuring that these techniques could be seamlessly integrated into their daily routines, transforming them into sustainable habits. In following years, we transferred the programme to an online experienced. We sustained energy and involvement throughout the day, and the online version delivered similar results.
As a result of our intervention, Shell’s IT leaders have developed stronger emotional intelligence and persuasion skills. They are now better equipped to influence and engage with business stakeholders authentically, thereby adding significant value to the organisation.
